In The Isle

Austroraptor is a good pick for players who enjoy sneaking up on prey and working with others in a meticulous fashion to bring quarry down. It's slower than Carnotaurus but faster than Utahraptor, with low damage output — so it's best to stay hidden when larger predators are around. Austroraptor preys on fish and creatures its size or smaller (Psittacosaurus, Dryosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Velociraptor), with juveniles of larger dinosaurs also on the menu. It was added to The Isle at release alongside Puertasaurus, Gallimimus, Carnotaurus, Tyrannosaurus, and Shantungosaurus.

In Real Life

Austroraptor is the largest dromaeosaur ever found in the Southern Hemisphere, and the fourth-largest dromaeosaurid ever discovered. It is closely related to animals like Unenlagia and Buitreraptor. Austroraptor preyed on small mammals, fish, and pterosaurs, and may have even preyed on titanosaurs such as Saltasaurus and Rocasaurus.

  • Small size makes it easy to sneak
  • High sprint speed for its weight class
