Is this the official The Isle website?
No. The Isle Info Guide is a community-built reference site. It's maintained by the same team behind the community server Jurassic Isle of Exo. The official game site is run by Afterthought Studios — we have no affiliation with them and don't speak for the dev team.
Are you affiliated with Afterthought Studios?
No. We're independent. Everything on the site is community-sourced from in-game testing, public patch notes, and player experience. We don't have access to internal dev resources and don't represent the studio in any capacity.
Who built this site?
A small group of players from the Jurassic Isle of Exo community server and dev team. The same crew also runs jurassicisleofexo.com (the server-branded site). This site exists as the neutral counterpart — pure guide content, no server branding inside the articles.
What version of The Isle does the site cover?
The Isle: Evrima — the actively-developed branch of the game on Steam. We don't cover the Legacy version. Patch numbers are noted on individual guides where behavior is build- specific; everything else is meant to track the latest public Evrima build.
Is the information up to date with the latest patch?
We try. Patch behavior can shift overnight, and some things on the site will lag behind the very newest build. If a specific page contradicts what you're seeing in-game, trust the game. If you can spot the contradiction, ping us via the JIE Discord and we'll get it corrected.
How is this site related to jurassicisleofexo.com?
Sister sites, same team. jurassicisleofexo.com is the server-branded home for the Jurassic Isle of Exo community — server features, in-game shop, leaderboard, skin lab. theisle.info is the neutral guide — no server branding inside the articles, just reference content for the game itself. There's a single dedicated /server page where we cross-promote, but the rest of the site is impartial.
Can I use images or content from the site?
The article text is fine to quote with attribution. Image assets are mixed — some are owner-created and watermarked with the EXO mark, some are screenshots taken in-game. Don't re-host the watermarked images as your own; for anything else, attribution back to theisle.info is enough.
I found a mistake. How do I report it?
Drop a note in the Jurassic Isle of Exo Discord — the link's in the footer and on the server page. Specific (which page, which sentence, what's wrong) gets fixed fastest. Vague (“ this is wrong”) gets fixed eventually.
